Thank you and Farewell

As the founder of Pacific Indemnity, I consider myself extremely fortunate to have spent my working life – especially the past ten years – doing what I truly love. Serving the needs of our brokers and insureds has been at the heart of our mission. Underwriting long-tail business, supporting our intermediaries, and attending to their claims are responsibilities we have always aimed to deliver with care and professionalism.

Over the decade since our inception, Pacific Indemnity has grown to become one of the largest underwriters of professional indemnity. We have since expanded into public liability, D&O, and soon, management liability. Much of this growth and success is owed to the strong support of our intermediaries, especially our partner brokers. For this, we are deeply grateful, and we remain committed to continually striving to do better.

At the end of this month, I will be retiring as Co-Managing Director. After more than 37 years devoted exclusively to long-tail insurance, I look back with gratitude for the many people who guided, taught, and supported me – colleagues, mentors, and many friends within the intermediary market and friends in CGU/IAG. The highlight of my career has been founding Pacific Indemnity and having the privilege of leading a team of dedicated people who consistently strive for excellence. From the sidelines, I will continue cheering for the company’s ongoing success.
